Attorneys

Mark Thomas McLeod

My interest in practicing Law sprouted in my undergraduate studies. Though I was born and raised in the Dallas area, I received my Bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University in Economics and Philosophy. I obtained my J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law. During law school, I not only met my law partner but also my life partner, Genevieve. We have been practicing law together since 2005, and we moved our law firm to South Texas to be closer family and friends. I enjoy problem solving, and with my 20 years of experience as a practicing attorney, I have learned how to apply this to my legal practice in a way that is beneficial to my clients. I help my clients navigate the tumultuous waters of divorce, child custody and property distribution issues. I excel at engaging courts in prosecuting personal injury claims, such as bodily injury due to car accidents, injury due to another's negligence, or breaches of contract or other business dealings. I am invested in getting the best results possible for all of my clients and assuring a satisfactory outcome for their cases.

Genevieve Gebheim McLeod

I have been a practicing attorney for 20 years. I primarily engage in the practice of estate planning, family law and personal injury. I am a strong advocate for the rights of my clients when trouble strikes in the form of marital discord or physical injury. My keen attention to detail helps me strengthen my client's position and develop a strong case against any opponent. I enjoy helping clients create plans for the present and future protection of their assets through comprehensive estate planning. I have practiced law since I graduated with honors from the Mississippi College School of Law. Immediately following law school, I worked as a law clerk for the Supreme Court of Mississippi. Mark and I established our law firm in South Texas, so we could have the opportunity to return to our roots and raise our family among the live oaks and friendly folks. I delve deep into my client’s dilemmas, so I can develop a thorough understanding and devise a strong plan to execute the goals of my clients.
